Polskie Koleje Panstwowe (PKP), the Polish State Rail Company operates the railway network in Poland and offers a good quality of rail transport. InterCity and EuroCity trains are the fastest and most comfortable. Express trains run between major cities and TLK trains are the low-cost version of the express trains. Fast trains stop at moderate-size stations and the local trains at every station. If a train is labelled with an ´R´ inside a box, reservation is mandatory.
