Eurostar Italia trains operate all over Italy. In 2006 two new High Speed lines have been inaugurated: Rome-Naples and Milan-Turin.
Eurostar Italia
Traveling with Eurostar Italia AV trains (AV meaning Alta Velocità, High Speed) is a completely new experience, which starts long before the actual journey begins, and ends after the train has reached its final destination. In the stations, special lounges are dedicated to AV travelers, who will find there an elegant and relaxed atmosphere. Special dedicated services, such as taxi or car reservations, are available to AV customers.
Eurail Pass holders
Eurail Pass holders have to pay a 20 euro supplement, both in 1st and 2nd class. This fare includes the compulsory reservation.
