Countries Select Pass

Map of countries (click for bigger)With a Eurail Select Pass you can design your own Pass. Just select 3, 4 or 5 European bordering countries or country combinations from the list of adjoining countries below.

Or take a look at the map of countries. On this map, the countries which you can select with a Eurail Select Pass are indicated in color. The numbers on the map refer to the country combinations which count as one country:

  1. Benelux = Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg
  2. Croatia and Slovenia
  3. Serbia & Montenegro and Bulgaria.

Adjoining countries

Countries can be chosen out of 23 countries which are connected by train or ship. This means that two countries must be linked by a direct train (not through another country) or shipping line which is part of the Eurail offer. An exception to this rule is Ireland which can be combined with Benelux, even though there is no direct rail of boat link.

  • Benelux (Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxemburg) to France, Germany, Republic of Ireland
  • Bulgaria/Montenegro/Serbia to Croatia/Slovenia, Greece, Hungary, Romania
  • Croatia/Slovenia to Austria, Bulgaria/Montenegro/Serbia, Hungary, Italy
  • Denmark to Germany, Norway, Sweden
  • Finland 1) 3) to Germany, Sweden
  • France to Benelux, Germany, Republic of Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland
  • Germany to Austria, Benelux, Denmark, Finland, France, Sweden, Switzerland
  • Greece 2) to Bulgaria/Montenegro/Serbia, Italy
  • Hungary to Austria, Bulgaria/Montenegro/Serbia, Croatia/Slovenia, Romania
  • Republic of Ireland to Benelux, France

Notes:

  1. When Finland AND Sweden are selected, the ferry crossing from Stockholm to Turku and Helsinki by
    Silja Line is included
  2. When Greece AND Italy are chosen, the ferry crossings between Greece and Italy operated by Superfast
    Ferries, Blue Star Ferries and Minoan Lines are included.
  3. Finland and Norway are not considered adjoining since they are not directly connected by rail or ship
